Studying the Opinions of Medical Workers about Preconception Care

Abstract.
 Objective: to study the opinion of medical personnel (doctors and nurses) on methods preconception care measures improve provision before conception in Kazakhstan (Karaganda region).
 Design: The data obtained during were subjected statistical processing by method variation statistics using free version EPI InfoTM program. arithmetic mean (M) standard deviation (±SD) calculated for quantitative indicators, presented as M±SD. Krusk-Wallis test (H test) was used compare means. Absolute (n) relative (%) values describe qualitative variables. χ2 frequencies variables.
 critical significance level (p) when testing hypotheses taken 0.05.
 Conditions: In Karaganda region, a survey conducted among doctors specialty general practitioner, practitioner/family doctor, obstetrician-gynecologist nursing staff. aimed at identifying knowledge health professionals about barriers factors preventing care.
 Participants: 365 375 nurses/midwives took part survey.
 Results: staff asked fill out questionnaire, which addressed issues related ways providing PC, implementation PC. 40% (n=292) respondents noted that should be carried specialists from family planning office. 24.3% (n=180) do not conduct conversations due lack time, knowledge, clear algorithm conducting because they consider it their functional duty.
